alpha-fly
Full MaleCNS (166,700 neurons, 10.5M connections) taught chess by self-play: one gain per synapse, signs and partners frozen. A same-degree, same-sign shuffle is in the training log; the README says the wiring is probably not special for chess. The published curve beats Stockfish only while Stockfish plays mostly random moves.
Nobody has read this one closely enough to attach evidence to a level. Until they have, it stays unrated — a guess would be worse than a gap.
